Whew, it has been an amazing winter. Tons of things to report.
My children have been sick this winter, more than I have seen.
I have realized that the super bugs are real and it seems like everyone around us is sick to some degree.
The things we have done to survive is, first using the Diffuser every day. If you don’t have one check out www.harmoniousscents.com
They are amazing because they put little particles of the essential oils in the air and we breathe it in and the particles lodge in the nasal passage. Then if any viruses or bacteria get in the nasal passage, it won’t get us sick, because the essential oil that we are diffusing is anti-bacterial and anti-viral and so it bacteria/virus cannot live and it will die and thus we have helped to prevent another sickness.
Another thing that has really helped is good nutrtion.
More and more we need to be eating vegetables and fruits and grains and lots of water and small amount of meat.

I love Christmas time ! For so many reasons. I love it because I can reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, which is remembering that Christ gave everything to us so that we might live again with him.
I also love Christmas because unfortunately it is a time where people get sick (that’s not the part of love), and I don’t have to worry anymore, ever since I found essential oils.
Isn’t it amazing that some of our favorite smells of Christmas are
Orange – brings happiness to our lives
Peppermint- a refreshing scent reminding us that we can be cleansed from our sins and begin anew
Clove- beautiful scent that is very anti-viral and anti-bacterial
Cinnamon- intoxicating scent that is also anti-viral and anti-bacterial and anti-fungal
Pine- a scent that is grounding to the soul, asking us to recommit ourselves and looking deeper at the things that are really important in our lives.
Frankincense- a popular scent that was given to the Christ child, a befitting gift for a king: Frankincense cost about $500.oo a pound and was only given to kings and for the use in temples. Why? No one is exactly sure. Those that know essential oils can come up with their own reasons. I would rather not speculate.
Myrrh- Also given to the Christ child, a even more befitting gift for a king, it’s cost $4,000.00 a pd in those ancient times. Maybe the meaning behind the essential oil gifts, was they were precious commodities, then were used only by Kings! One proof that some knew that Christ was their king, and he had come to save us all. What a beautiful thought!
May we all count our blessings and thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for everything he has given to us. Let’s all turn our lives over to him, because truly he can make more out of them, than we can.
I have so many wonderful stories to tell about essential oils, I just don’t have time to write them all down.

This will be my first post on the beautiful world of essential oils. I wanted to share the most amazing discovery. A couple weeks ago, I slammed my ankle on a rod iron chair. It slammed so hard I thought I broke it. I didn’t break it, but I knew that I was going to get the biggest bruise of my life.
So I started thinking, hum, which essential oil could I put on it to first help with the pain, and then make it so I didn’t bruise.
Well a friend told me about her wonderful dealings with Melissa oil and I thought well maybe I could try it on my bruise.
I diluted it by using 1oz carrier oil and 5 drops of the Melissa oil.
That night my ankle didn’t hurt like I thought it would. I was surprised but still waited.
The next day, I looked for any beginnings of bruising and wow, nothing.
Kept using it two times per day and still no bruising. Couldn’t believe it. I didn’t realize how wonderful Melissa was for bruising and helping with the pain.
Weeks later I went to my chiroprator to look at it. He looked at it and thought it looked fine.
Next time instead of Lavender for pains and bruises I will try Melissa for sure.
